We sometimes do in my Spark troupe, but this year we ran out of time. :-(

Thank you Aud for those lovely flowers, Of course it is already the 1st May
here - it always facinates me when actual days are mentioned that we are
already half way through your "tomorrow". I once heard a fellow say to
person who was preaching doomsday " do not fear that tomorrow may not
ome - it is sure to arrive because it already has downunder !!"

--Do tell - what is a May basket ? God Bless Gwen

Gwen,

May baskets are made usually with containers and trimmed with crepe paper and
filled with candy or some other goodie and hung on your neighbors door knob. I
can remember some of the lovely ones I used to make, but don't know how now,
but the umbrella was the favorite one. I'll have to see if I can find a picture
of it.

Hugs,

Nora

On a totally different note about May first...

*Now* I see this, and am reminded that I forgot it's Kentucky Derby day!!!
::sobs, sniffles:: That's two years in a row I've missed it now, darn it! And I
don't have cable, where I could see a decent replay instead of a 5-second clip
on broadcast news - maybe. Woe, woe is me.

(yeah, like I should only have these kind of troubles, right? g)

Monica - bored by any sport unless it has to do with horses. Now, that's what
you call a *narrow* fanaticism. ) Ok, ok, I do watch some of the gymnastics
during the Summer Olympics--but their equestrian event coverage sucks big, fat,
hairy rocks. Boo NBC.
