Default Unmounted vs mounted

I finally had a chance to play with the unmounted stamps I bought, and I
really like the way the images came out. Since the acrylic block is
heavier than wood, I feel like I get clearer images. I currently use the
EZ mount system, and it works really well. I bought the blocks by
Stampendous, which cost a bit more, but the sides have the hourglass
figure so it is like a traditional wood mount. It's easy to clean too
Any other experiences?

I switched over to EZ Mount a few years a go and really love it. I just
can't believe how many stamps I can fit into a small area. I unmounted all
of my old stamps and put them on the EZ mount. I try to only buy unmounted
stamps now since they are SO much less expensive. I like the acrylic blocks
because I can really see where my stamp is going, pretty much stopped using
a stamp positioner.

I store all my stamps in notebooks with a piece of paper between each and
easily find what I need when I need it. I use the Stamp 'n' Stor panels and
include a stamped version of each stamp between panels. Amazingly easy for
stamping and storage!
