Happy dance

I finished Eileen Bennett's "Crown of Thorns" sampler. This was a class I
took at CATS Hershey last year. It was a series of small and a few large
squares that you satin stitched and then each was filled with a different
pulled stitch. I wanted to learn some different pulled stitches and boy did
I. Some I really like and some I will never do again. The sampler was a
lot of fun to do. Even with the stitches I hated, the squares were small
enough that I didn't have to do them too long.

I really want to start the French Alphabet Sampler, but I still have to buy
the threads for it. I'm really leaning towards silk, but need to go
somewhere where I can see the colors. Until then, I;m working on Stony
Creek's "Nature's Home Afghan".
