Superb book in excellent condition. by Alexander Watt. "A Practical
Handbook of Tanning Currying and Chrome Leather Dressing.Large
book,484 pages ,very comprehensive.
Some chapter headings:- Hides and Skins / Tannin / Gallic Acid / De
-liming or bating/ tanning processes /harness leather tanning /
hemlock tanning / manafacture of white leather / Box calf /
Currying?embossing leather / Parchment vellum and shagreen/
Fellmongering etc

Top vintage book for the leather worker!
