Trip to Bali, not OT maybe off the wall

I have had the opportunity to go to Bali twice in the last few years. It is
my hope to return in 2005 with a group of beaders. I realize that this is
not for everyone and I can only take about 20 people anyway. It will cost
approximately $2000 each including air fare(from San Francisco), hotel, some
meals, cars and guides, a $25 visa fee entering the country and a $12.50
exit fee. You need a passport. Of course, depending on your shopping skills
and impulse control you can spend a lot more than that. The Balinese do
bargain.
I hope to have some beading classes while we are there. This is not a hand
held, guided tour, you can go and do whatever you want. We will have several
cars and guides so small groups can go where and when they want.
It is not a good idea to massively swarm the silver shops many of which are
in people’s homes.
Please remember that Bali is in a third world country and is close to the
equator so it is hot and humid all the time.

I realize that 2005 seems a long way off, but to plan for spending 15-18
days out of the country takes some organizing. And, others may need to save
$100 or so a month, as I am, to pay for the trip.
