I never mind when the saw is in the house. Of course it's usually me making
the mess. :-)

A good friend sent me that link awhile back and I am also going
to try and make one soon... as soon as it gets warm enough to work
outside. I don't think my wife would approve of me bringing a saw in the
house and having fun. lol

Why not Harry? We use the kitchen in the winter and use the dremel,
scrollsaw, etc. LOL

That's so cool! I love that creative use of molding, and it's handsome,
too. Sounds like your FIL is a good guy... it's good to have something
there to balance that MILFH!

I asked my FIL to make me a bead rack when he got a chance. Since my MIL
was coming for a visit he hopped to and made this one for me. He didn't
paint it so I could chose any colors. I think I'm going to make it pretty
colorful. I need to go get some paints since all I have is oil and it would
take forever to dry.

The ones I saw at the local glass shop were really pretty, but I think he
did an amazing job. The white holders up front are actually dental molding
for a home. I only asked for six spots to hold mandrels, but I have a ton
now.

The album name is Bead Rack. Open it up and take a look.

The next project is a large bead loom. I have an idea of what I want, but
if you guys have any suggestions on what would be an ideal loom please let
me know.

See there is the good point... you said "we". Here it is just me. lol
If I was to bring my saw out and start throwing dust everywhere my
wife would kill me. She is a clean freak and hates any kind of dust.
Our house looks like no one lives here. Everything in it's place.
She has been this way since we got married way back in 75'

Do you think maybe she'd come live with me for a little while? I could
really use a clean freak right about now

A friend of mine told me she'd come over and organize my apartment for a
small fee, then she was here for the first time and actually saw The
Hovel. She told me I would *never* have enough money for her to tackle
this place g.

Cheers,
Carla

The only time my house is truly clean is right after I move.
You know, you move, you throw out all kinds of junk. You
organize, put things away. Stash everything you can't bear to
part with in boxes, which are put away (attic, basement, where
ever). It's clean. It's neat. Then I start living there. The end
of clean comes a few days later. The end of organized, a
couple months after that.
I've been in this house for 16 yrs. Longer than anywhere I've
ever lived in my life. Talk about gross. There is so much stuff
I can't even re-paint. No room to move around. Currently the
painters are repainting every room in the new house except
the dining room (which is deep teal). I'm stenciling wisteria
vines and flowers around the top of the walls. The kitchen
will be lavender. I will carry the wisteria around to there,
but with darker flowers so that they will show up. I did one
segment today to see how it will look, and it's going to be
great!
