14 Mil. diamond heist

there's a news story about 2 big diamonds being lifted at a paris trade
show. you can read the article above, or copy and paste it in your browser.

anyways, the reason i brought it up is.....supposed i stole the 2 diamonds,
those 2 diamonds alone is good...but it's not cold hard cash which can buy
homes, boats, cars, etc etc.

those robbers who stole those diamonds, is it easy to move those kind of
very high end pieces w/o alerting authorities??

how can they convert what they stole to cash?

Can I have my diamonds back please? Pretty please?

Answer: Sell REAL cheap. Someone will always buy them I guess.

The two rocks are certainly more compact than $14m in cash or even
cocaine. Shouldn't be too difficult.

By having a buyer already lined up. Odds are this is not your garden
variety thief. (I wonder if Kim Jong Il is into diamonds?)
