Hug Quilt Pati update

Howdy!

Wasn't that a hoot? And "where are they, now?"
It was a good project (doubled), w/ good intentions, and, finally,
good results.

Remember the Columbine High School Quilt? The really big, 11'x11' quilt?
It got stuck in Plano, just north of Dallas, with the quilter who was
hand-stippling the center square. She went no-response, also, and a
couple of us went looking for her. I offered (really, it was an offer,
not a threat g) to meet her at her apartment to pick it up (yes, I knew
exactly where she lived, 50 miles from me); I explained that we were
all concerned, I used to live in Plano & could travel right to her door.
Well, 3 days later she sent that quilt to me, mostly un-quilted (that center
square is gorgeous) & I commenced to Finishing it. Several of us sent her
our thanks & best wishes, and we heard from her no more.


Meanwhile, Rep. Gifford is doing rather well, God bless her.
