Annie, what a lovely pattern! I've just been thinking that it's time to knit
some more socks! Thank you! Liz Annie wrote in message http://www.lloydknitting.com/pink_ribbons_sock.htm -- Annie |

A lovely sock pattern Annie! I have been collecting sock patterns and one of
these days I will be brave enough to make a pair or two. One question though. I noticed the gauge varies with the foot size. Is that usual with socks? Dora |

Hi Dora,
If you are referring to the Pink ribbons sock pattern, it is pretty confusing. Most patterns I've come across specify one gauge and vary the finished size by changing the number of stitches cast on, and the number of rows worked. -- Sue in East Anglia, UK "Bungadora" wrote in message ... Yes, that's the one. I should have quoted. I don't think gauge is actually
given. There is a note on the pattern that those numbers refer to foot size. Oh well, when doing that pattern one must merrily knit along, hope for the best, expect the worst, I guess.
