we are in a subburb so we didnt have too much trouble about not having
a local job yet... but if we were in the city we may have had more
trouble. getting a job first is probably wise good luck!

costs. ok. o my god.

truck: $600
gas: at least $300
new furnitu $400
hotels: $100

random unforseen costs:
hitting a guy with a truck: $300
my car breaking: min. $150 in rental car plus cost to fix vehicle

That part really stinks!

seeing all me new furniture in my new house with my sweet man next to
me: priceless

sorry, couldnt resist

LOL!

total around $1900 but i swear it cost closer to $3000. o, well, also
deposit on new place- $650 plus rent for time not there yet, $350,
plus rent for when we arrived, $650.

new total: $3650

i did not cover all these costs, but a lot of them. probably almost
3000. crizzy!!!

yes, we went for a 'vacation'/business trip here to scout it out
first. we found a place at that point, then went back to los angeles
and packed and moved.

Thanks! Well that gives me a general idea then. That is what I will do is go out
and scout and find a place. Did the apartments give you a hard time about not
having a local job?

I am just going to take my car first and get a new job and then come back and
get my stuff with a truck.

Did you move to Albuquerque? I have been through there a few times and spent the
night. It is really beautiful.

Thanks again.
