Just a thought here; In Canada, the chain store Eaton's used 'Viking' as
their house brand name for appliances, just as Sears uses Kenmore. When
I was looking for my first new machine in 1976, I looked at Husqvarna as
well as other brands. They were not called Viking then, at least in
Ontario. So it seems at least possible that this is not a
Husqvarna-Viking you have, but a house brand made by Domestic for
Eaton's. HTH
