It's kind of a twisted knit cast on, might make a little firmer edge
than the standard knit CO.

Sue the film shows indeed what i do , with one difference , once i
slide the left needle into the new stitich iDO NOT take out the right
needle since it is already in a `position` to knit the next stitch ,,
saves loads of time and yiu knit=caston in a whippi

After I tried it, I realized that's just the standard knit cast on. I
don't take the needle out either when I do it this way. I've begun to
put the new st on with the tips facing though, and that gives a
different look to the edge.
