I have a large stained glass window in my home. The center piece of
glass is a circle cut from a 30X30 inch piece of red glass.

Try for Kokomo Opalescent Glass company. They have a listing for Red
Cathedral (catherdral indicates translucency). Their stock number is
41L or GKK41L. Their full sheet size is 32 inches by 41 inches, so
should be large enough. The Kokomo company has been manufacturing in
the US since 1888, so there is a slight chance it might be the
manufacturer of the original.

Good luck, gk

Yes, I found that exact same glass at their web site. I've asked them
to send samples of a few different densities, and about shipping. That
was Sunday and as of Monday I've not heard from them but I still have
hope. I think it is very cool that the original glass may have come
from them. Even though the piece in my window is broken 80% of it is
intact. I would think I would have no problem finding a buyer for a
large sheet 108 year old red glass.
