It depends on the bracelet/necklace. Some beads have holes large enough to
fit over the crimp, so there's going to be movement no matter what you do.
Sometimes I will use two or three of the tiny crimps in a row to make room.
Sometimes I will leave a larger loop at the end. Sometimes I tear my hair
out in frustration! LOL - seriously - it really depends on the make-up of
the piece. Lots of experimentation and practice will help.

Yes - I use the 1mm tube crimps. Sterling silver holds up the best.
Maybe this is a silly question... When using 1mm crimps, do you leave a
slightly larger loop on the clasp end? Even my mini-crimp tool seems to be
at
least 2mm wide, so I haven't been able to figure out how to use smaller
crimps
yet.
