Creating and Painting in Watercolor
by Carl Nickel
This is a primer for the beginning watercolorist. It starts with a chapter
on feeling and the easiest watercolor method. And proceeds through the
scribble sketch to the mini color rough. Chapters follow on how light molds
your picture, instant picture with felt and washes, pattern and texture for
accent, and the finished painting in Spotwet Watercolor. Finally there are
chapters on materials and equipment and a checklist of picture-killers and
picture-makers. Well illustrated primarily in B&W with some color
illustrations.
