Default Betty Ring's books for needlework -

I posted this message a couple of nights back, and was surprised to get
no response. So tonight I checked it on my newsreader, and surprise -
the message had 'expired'. So if you are not getting a response (since
I've found that on some other recently posted messages from other folks
that I've tried to read), your messages may be getting marked as
'expired.(and, yes, I've checked my date and time settings).

Anyway, I changed the header (not so cheap sex) and reposted as below.

" I've been looking for Betty Ring's early book, "Let Virtue be a Guide
to Thee", and for quite awhile have not been able to find it.

Recently, I came across Abe Books, a wonderful source of used/out of
print books.

http://www.abebooks.com/

So, out of curiosity, I plugged in "Ring" as author and 'needlework" as
the key word.

Sigh - I guess I'm not going to be able to buy LVBAGTT for some while -
not unless I win the lottery. The cheapest copy is $575 (US). "

Thank goodness I was able to get Girlhood Embroidery American Samplers
some years ago for $125 (Cnd).
