My current project has 3/8" MDF walls, and I got to thinking about my
next project. I'm thinking about a Greenleaf cottage next, and
wouldn't wiring prove a problem? If you use the brads (or the
eyelets) - which are 1/8" long, that's the same as the thickness of
the walls. What's to prevent the brads from going all the way through?
Or the pilot holes, at least?

I use the tips of punch pins (things you use on bulletin boards) to make
pilot holes. For 1/8" thick walls you may not need a pilot hole.

I have no idea about the problem of the brads going through. You might want
to use roundwire as that would eliminate the brad problem.
