For Christmas one year, my father gave me a cheap cotton ironing board
cover with a print of a naked man on it. It's falling apart, but I keep
on fixing it because I love my naked man. lol

Underneath him is a nice cover that I bought at a sewing expo. Sorry that
I can't remember what it's made of, but it's heavy-duty, slippery-but-
not-teflon, and distributes heat very well. it's lasted for about 10 years
now, and hardly shows its age.
Well heck, put a naked man over me and I wouldn't show my age either!

For the cover, I used a bit of heavy grey cotton drill that I'd bought to make
tough school pants for DS. It's lasted all these - hmmm - ten years! It's grey,
which is nice: I'm not a fan of those big, blowsy, frowsy floral prints! It just
has a hem on it and I threaded some stout nylon cord through that to pull it
tight.
