That should work, Paula, Good luck! Can't wait to see it when you're finished!

Just a note...some of our systems don't like HTML format posts (mine included...it
stuffs the program up sometimes.) Using plain text messages seems to be a much
friendlier way to go. Thanks!

Wow, thanks everyone for your responses to my fusible batting question! I don't want
to take up too much room, so I'll respond to all he

IMS: I have an "extra" Sunbonnet Sue on a 12-inch block, so I think I will try the
fusible for a pillow with that one before I attempt the quilt.

Patti: My first time here asking a question! (Been lurking for a few weeks). I
didn't know about basting guns...will check into that.

Flossy: I have the June Taylor fusible. I haven't seen Hobbs, but I will look for
it.

Peg: Good to know about the initial stiffness. That might have thrown me off!

Jaylynne: I will be machine quilting, although I'm not sure which way I'll go with
that yet. I used a blanket stitch on my machine to attach the appliqués to the
muslin blocks. I'm thinking of using a straight stitch diagonally just up to the
appliqué on the blocks and maybe stitch in the ditch around the block borders?

Thanks again for your responses. I'm much less skittish about trying the fusible
now!

I love looking at everyone's quilts. Mine aren't near as good, but if you would like
to take a peek.....These are all lap/crib size. One day I'll make a full bed quilt!
