Default My necklace's first outing

Remember that gold/champagne chips and chains necklace I made a few months ago?
Well, it got its public debut this afternoon. I had to take a break from our
symphony chorus (I'm a 1st soprano) because of the surgery, but there was no way I
was going to miss the chance to hear my friends sing, so I went this afternoon to the
last concert of the season - Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Durufle's Requiem. I got
several wonderful comments about the necklace and bracelet, and got to pass out a few
business cards. Now I have the soprano soloist asking if I can make her something
for a December concert! This is encouraging, because I really want to use the
"profit" at this point toward purchasing tickets so that DH can continue to attend my
concerts.

The concert was awesome. And I'm not just saying that from a bias (well, maybe a
little..lol), but honestly, they did a wonderful job, and I was weeping for joy that
this group of people that I've sung with for nearly two years are just wonderful
artists! I've missed it tremendously the past 8 weeks, and can't wait to get back
with them in September.

Anyway...just wanted to share that with you all...and that I'll be rather scarce for
a few days, because I'm spending time with DH for our 11th anniversary! So...have
fun playing in the beads.

Hugs...
