Spike is fine. I just didn't subject him to the photo shoot this time.
Here's one of the boys that I took the other morning. I heard an
"Oooooof" which I think was the sound of Caesar being squished, but it
was a cold morning, so he didn't mind:

Spike is 8 1/2 and has slowed down only slightly. He still loves to
chase the ball, but now about 10 times with the ball launcher will do
instead of 30-40! (A nice break for the arthritis in my shoulder.)

A friend of mine has a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd/Border collie
mix. I always want to ask her what possessed her to get this dog,
especially since she and her husband both worked at the time!
