OIC. If Norma comes up empty let me know - the LYS on the south side
of town did at one time have a couple pair of the things. What
size(s) do you need?

Halcyon Yarns sells suede slipper soles. http://www.halcyonyarn.com

Thanks Slinky, but their shipping and handling charges, US dollar exchange,
plus customs fees and brokerage charges make it way too expensive for me to
order on-line. I'm hoping someone might pick up a couple of these things at
a local store and mail them to me, marked as a "gift", so as to avoid the
customs crap. If it doesn't happen, well, I tried, and I'll have to figure
out some other way to do it. I can't believe these things aren't available
here - after all, Winnipeg is a city of over 600, 000 people.

I don't know if anyone can help. I have looked all over town here for

those
nice light leather patches - usually used to cover holey elbows, fix

leather
gloves, etc. My grandson has worn holes in the soles of his new knitted
slippers, and I wanted to use the leather patching material to fix them.
They used to carry them as well at Mary Maxim, but I haven't seen them in
their catalogue for a while.

If anyone knows of a source, I will be happy to pay for a couple of
packages, along with postage.

Thanks
