Located in the heart of the old town of Vallauris, France, the non-
profit Association A.I.R. Vallauris (Artists in Residence) welcomes
international artists from all horizons to meet and collaborate with
local artists and to research and create new work in an artistic
laboratory created specifically for them.

About the Small Art Objects Silent Auction
----------------------------------------------------------------
We are pleased to announce the first annual A.I.R. Vallauris benefit.
The event is in conjunction with the Fete Picasso (July 21, 2007 - in
Vallauris, France) and includes a competition, exhibition and sale of
Small Art Objects. This benefit event will take place annually with
the same format but with a different object theme.
This year's theme: The object must be able to accommodate, integrate
or make use of a standard tea-light candle.

Small Art Objects 2007 is a fundraising event for A.I.R. Vallauris,
and the submitted Small Art Objects are all being sold by silent
auction.

A.I.R. Vallauris: 2008 Residencies

Created in October 2001, the Association A.I.R. Vallauris continues to
welcome several artists at a given time for a period of two months in
its residence and studios available to the artists.
Since April 2002, over 70 creators of different nationalities have
taken part in the program.
The application deadline for 2008 residencies is 15 October 2007.
