Default Any USM users near Bethlehem, PA?

Hi there,

I'm trying to find someone to help my mother with her Bond Ultimate Sweater
Machine. She was an avid knitter in the past, until she had a stroke in
Spring 2002. She never fully recovered, so she has some paralysis on her
right side (she's right handed).

I called Bond and asked if they thought she would be able to use it with her
limited use of one hand. They thought she would be able to. Since then she
has gotten set up and tried to use it, but is having trouble getting it
going. Apparently she gets a couple of rows going, and then it falls apart.

I am trying to find someone with experience with the machine in her area who
wouldn't mind taking a little time to see if they could work with her to get
it going. She is in a wheelchair and "stuck" in a nursing home because of
her condition, and I know that it would be a great boost to her morale if
she were able to start knitting again.

Even if anyone was nearby and able to call her to try to talk her through
the problems she is having, it might be useful.

I know this is a long shot, but I figured I would give it a try. Please
respond here or via email (akreutzer AT comcast.net) and I will get back to
you.

Thanks much!

Alex
