Default Help with berry pattern/stitch

DA wrote:

and have knit the body of the sweater and the sleeves. Now I'm ready
to knit the yoke, and will put the sleeves in place and work it all at
once. My problem is the berry pattern. I am totally confused as to
how to do the:

work 3 sts in 1 st as follows: P1, 1 YO, P1

P1, YO, P1 is making two stitches in one, and means just what it says.
In the next stitch purl 1, YO, purl 1, an increase of two stitches.

and the
P3, lift first st over third st and lift second st over third st = 1
st left

Purl the next 3 stitches, looking at the P3 on the right needle from
left to right, insert the tip of the left needle into the first purl.
That is the one fartherest from the tip of the needle With the tip of
the left needle, lift this stitch (1) over the last stitch on the right
needle (3), do the same thing with the remaining stitch (2)

You have just decreased to two stitches you added with the p1, yo, p1.

This video shows how to lift the stitches, but instead lifting two at
one time, you will only be lifting one.
