Not an appropriate machine for that work at all.
If anything I would try the 3 stepo zigzag on a very short stitch length.
But that is way to heavy work for a machine like that.,


By the way. Over the weekend I doubled over some 5oz. leather and sewed it
together with some nylon thread. Apart from my mistakes trying to push/feed
the leather through, the machine did a workmanlike job. It is still
performing way better than my abilities. I don't regret owning it yet. May
take me a few years before I outgrow it.
