Oh, I won't!!! I *will* get them done in time for the county fair in
July!!!!!!!!

Good for you - will wait for the pix. As I am incredibly guilty with a
small pile of finished pieces waiting to be "finished" . It must be my
short and constantly switching about attention span. For anything except
books...

... but found that the canvas I had was a bit short. *I will deal with that
later.

Send me a note directly - how big a piece do you need -

Thanks, but it's not necessary. It's only short 2" and in talking to
Arliss (former ng member in Bismarck, with whom I split the canvas)
she gave me the great idea to just sew a heavy fabric on the edges, so
I will do that.

Good idea. I was concerned that you were short in the design area. I was
at 2 local LNS yesterday, picking up threads for a class I'm teaching at
guild next month. And of course the author of the design, who is quite
talented chose 2 of the threads that are only available at the shop furthest
away, so I swapped the 2 overdyes for other brands. The LNS owner at stop 1
told me that a lot of people were already in kitting it up. Then as I was
paying - she just said "I know you don't need any canvas - don't you have a
ton? Plus - didn't you get some colored stuff from me?" Answer -yup. So,
glad you've got a solution, but really - for supplies I'm generally reliable
;^)

Then, for the 3rd time, as I get about 1/3 thru and thinking it's
still wrong, I take a better look and realize that I'd been correct all
along

You definitely know my pain! lol I got it all pulled out last night
and started restitching. Got a half row done and started counting
threads again. This time I was one thread too far to the right.
sigh.

Exactly know this feeling. DH still teases me about this, as it's one of
the framed pieces that is now sitting about waiting for a location.
