Ooo. I'd like to see photos of this at some point. I like gansies
(ganseys?) and I'm wondering about making a Tunisian crochet one at some
point in my future.

We picked out all the stuff for the new house this week and finalized
the construction plans yesterday afternoon. When discussing the
fireplace and lighting elements in the downstairs living room, the
designer we are working with asked me "What kinds of things will you be
doing in that room?" DME just rolled his eyes. I got launched into a
discussion about crochet and knitting, and proceeded to show her on the
floor plan exactly where my proposed work area was, as well as where the
wool and cotton would be stored (built-in shelves in that room where I
can put big baskets of fibers -- I get hot flashes thinking about it).

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have actually built my yarn stash storage
directly into the new house. My husband must love me very much to allow
it.
