Sounds like you have been busy And yes I should do the journal thing
too.

I don't know Gail, but I have followed her and your posts, and I am truely
sorry for her illness, but glad she is in good spirits.

The mention of prayer shawls made me want to share this with folks who
would
"get it" so....

Recently I finished a version of the Great American Aran Afghan. It was
done
as a kind of memorial piece for a good friend on the passing of his
mother.
He is a musician and he wrote a song about his loss and that inspired the
design of the afghan. It took a long time to finish but I have to say it
looked really good. When it was given, the reaction was more than any
words of
thanks could ever be.

If you would like to see it, I have a small page for projects and such.
The
afghan is he

Page 1 has a few other things you might find interesting.

Keep the needles going!

--snip--

the afghan is lovely and I know it will make your friend very happy. I did
the same one and I keep it on the loveseat in my den, but it's been taken
over by my dog and now he won't let anyone else use it.

I have no picture of that one, but I thought you might like a picture of
the first one from that series called the Great North American Afghan.
