Nel, you are good! Really, really good. I particularly like the one about
using a kit. I used to wonder (quite uppity, too) why anyone would do that.
I finally realized that there are lots of good reasons and they are none of
my business. So there. Polly

Nobody should ever use anything other than 100% cotton in anything,
including batting backing and thread.
Anything to protect the under finger is cheating.
(In addition the the above) A minced finger is a badge of pride
Bias binding is the only way to edge a quilt
Non-mitred corners are for amateurs
Metric measures are not pc
Every last pot-holder must be labeled with the DNA of the maker
Only needles made in England are good enough
Using a pattern (Or, God forbid!) a KIT is treachery to the brood
