no new postings since 5/2 (long)

goes out.

We have DD and grandbaby visiting this month,...

Needlethreaders and eyesight

Wow! I am reminded yet again that we all put too much faith in people
with white coats. Always worth getting a second opinion, even if it's
just from the optician who makes your glasses. Mine always...

Music, music, music

Bach has architecture. So does quilting. (Not that it makes me a

Music, music, music

Gotta have music. DH, my techie support, has transferred his entire
collection (about 10,000 CDs) to MP4 format. (MP3 isn't good enough
for his ears.) So if I need anything, I can download to the...

believe they are propagating in the depths of the cupboard. Took them
out the other day and...

education program in your neighborhood? they usually have classes in
things you might not have tried. I did lacemaking once. It...

seems to me that you have the magic fingers. You cannot kill a plant,
and every plant you touch turns into superplant. So what are...

Er... the darning foot! There's a Big Foot version too, but I prefer
the smaller one. The Pfaff has its special "mezzanine" position where
the tension discs are engaged but the foot doesn't come all...

My plan is to do the batting in thirds and the top in fifths. So the
batting joins will not line up anywhere near the seams in the top, and
there won't be any seams in the back. I think, once the...

uncertainty and skip the grid, it will be easier and...

has 16 60-degree patches, each about 1.5" tall, to make up a...

Does the Grace Hand quilting Professional frame fold down so I can put it away

Don't know anything about the Grace. I just use a large hoop on my
lap. Very easy, takes little space when you aren't using it (and
little space when you are!)
