DMC Designer Program

After 9 years in the DMC Designer Program, I am suddenly told I am not in their system when I recently requested floss for some upcoming designs. The contact emails I've used in the past are either being returned as "XXX is not longer with the company" or just bad emails. When I finally got valid email addresses, that was when I was told I was not in their system. I sent the one who told me I did not exist the history of my contacts and my initial welcome letter. And, probably foolishly, charts to show I use and promote their floss. Then, no reply.

Has any one else had similar issues?

Sorry that you're having problems. It sounds like DMC representatives
don't share their designer information within the office. Or that
someone resigned and didn't hand over their records to the new person
taking over those duties.

Either way, you're the one stuck in the middle.

When I first started designing 20+ years ago, DMC sent me a nice
treasure box of floss, but weren't very helpful after that.

I ended up switching to Anchor products for my designs instead.
They were always very generous in sending whatever I requested
for upcoming designs.

Perhaps going over to the competition is worth investigating
for your future work?

Just an idea.

I have indeed gone over to the competition. If at all possible, I primarily design in Dinky Dyes silk, and offer DMC suggestions most of the time.
