Help with decreasing
I'm new to machine knitting and was wondering if there is a way to decrease in the middle of a row as oppsed to just on the sides. Can anyone help me with this. Pretty please :)

Pretty please :) You can do it with a garter bar. You put the stitch you want to decrease onto the next needle, leaving one needle empty. Barbara, If you don't have a garter bar, the same thing can be done with a three-prong tool, it just takes longer. And if you have a number of stitches to decrease across the piece, you can do a row of ravel cord, then a few rows of waste yarn, and rehang the work, decreasing as you go. |
