my daughter's playdough keeps going soft and gooey
 

I don't get it. after about 4 weeks of sitting in a plastic bag. the
homemade playdough (salt, water, flour, alum, food colouring), the
playdough goes soft and mushy. What's up? Can I add more flour to
fix it???? thanks for your replies.....
