I don't think I'd ever touch one which used spamming of unrelated
newsgroups to advertise itself, as it shows a lack of Clue.

Can use any FTP client, or use (provided, Windows XP) utility
to back-up specific PC directories to remote storage by using
a schedule, or to always 'keep in sync' with your PC storage!

Now *that* was funny! Or do you not see the irony of x-posting *your* spam
on the bottom of your reply?

It's free, there's really *no charge* for that 1 GB storage deal
(there's a difference between what's in a signature and making a post
only to advertise). I guess you're not the same as the old "WaveyDavy"
who was on TV and writing for magazines, as he'd certainly have known...

1. Well, duh! The spelling is different. Might be a giveaway.
2. Why would someone add back in a certain newsgroup to the x-post if they
weren't in the habit of trying to spam newsgroups who weren't interested in
their tat?

To get the last word, perhaps :-

Mostly because I had posted to the groups where the original appeared,
set a follow-up to go nowhere (expecting the spammer to follow-up) but
you then decided to prune one of the groups, but your reason for doing
so was not clear, nor described.
