Found a Vintage Quilt Top!!

long. I really think the items were donated together, but priced
separately. Of course I grabbed that too, to use on the back.

The funny thing is I only looked because of Marissa!! It was time
to leave, and I thought "Get real, the chances of finding a
quilty treasure are really really low." But then I thought of
Marissa finding that neat top and gave it a go!! So, thanks Dr.
Quilter for motivating me!

Such fun to find an old top Pat. The hunt is half the fun :)
Lots of old stuff around but there is a lot of time in finding
it. I hope you have fun putting it together. Old tops always makes me
think of who pieced it. What fun for you!

It is a thrill when you come across an old top or quilt, especially if
the price is good. My heart rate goes way up!

After you find the first bargain, you get sucked in and spend a lot more
time haunting flea markets, thrift stores, antique shops, etc. Or at
least, that is my experience.

Well, thank you Pat, I am glad you are following in my footsteps. My
roomate from grad school came to visit. He sees my old quilts and tops
and asks me 'why do you buy quilts if you can make them'? He does not
understand the joy of finding and rescueing these treasures!
