Works Inc, 170 Wilbur Plains. NY 11716". Has anyone on this list ever
encountered kits from this company?

What you posted seems to be an incomplete business name and address. Doing some searching found Crafts Design Works‎ , 170 Wilbur Place. Bohemia NY 11716, which is a needlework manufacturer. http://www.designworkscrafts.com/
