hide email address
 

I keep going back into google my account and saying I want my nickname
showing and not my email address and it still shows. Can anyone tell
me how to stop it? barbie

Why is it so important to hide your Email adress ????
You remind me of a woman i knew who told me i am "Not Allowed to leave
any note for her in her postbox " ,,,, Considering she lived 4 floors
over the street .it was a burden ,,,
Adresses are made to be used !!!

Yeah...by spammers. It is not unreasonable for someone to
want to protect themselves from having their inbox swamped with
hundreds of spam messages, possibly even filling up the mailbox
so that important messages can't get through in a timely fashion.
(And, of course, in the US it's illegal for *anyone* other than a
US mail carrier to leave something in a mailbox.)

Trouble is, Mirjam, thst they get used by spammers - like the rubbish post
you get through your letterbox!

I understand all this , still i found it not so important to hide my
home adress or email adress nore my phones ,,,,one has to have some
contact with the world besides hiding behind screens etc... i have POB
.. only because our Mail persopns wouldn`t take mags ,,, saves me
standing in line in the post office ,{ and our`s seems less safe than
the home adresses , since it was robbed twice , during the last year
