Painting - Wiring - What Order?

Paint before wiring but if you're going to put tape on the walls, you will
need to put a coat of paint over the tape unless you're wallpapering.
There are 2 sides to the "paint first, assemble after" or "assemble first,
paint after". I am on the "assemble first" side. I prime the walls before
assembling but leave the final decorating until after I'm done. The reasons
are 1. the decorating could get damaged during assembly 2. you might change
your mind about which rooms should be which after assembling and 3. for the
exterior, I changed my mind about the exterior after I saw it assembled.
Instead of siding, I went with brick.

And that's my humble opinion.

Hello All...

My wife and I are brand new to the world of miniatures and we are building
our first project together (Really Good Toys: Cranberry Cove)
and we've reached a bit of an impasse.

We have the base built, the side walls glued in place and the second and
thrid floors are installed but:

Should we paint all surfaces before laying in the copper tape for
electrification / or do we tape first and then paint?

We are assuming that we need to go ahead and affix the front of the house
before wiring, but it would seem to make sense that one would paint both

the
interior and exterior before assembly since you can get at the interior
surfaces easier before it is installed...? Yes? No?

TIA...

We're slow but we are trying to do it right the first time!
