Butterbean Fetish ?
 

Hee hee...I thought that subject line would get your attention!

I'm sure all of you that visit this board on a regular basis know Jerri
(Beadbimbo) has a pet guinea pig named Butterbean. Well, yesterday while I
was at the torch, I attempted to make my first Bear Fetish in keeping with
the little indian pottery beads I've been making. I didn't get the back of
the bear arched up high enough so what I ended up with was....well....a
Butterbean Fetish! Take a look....this is a hoot....or I guess I should say,
it's a squeal!

LOL Dawn, well all is not lost, according to one "authority", guinea
pigs are great power animals, here are their attributes:

Guinea Pig/Hampster's Wisdom Includes:

Gentleness

Humane treatment of others

*

Responsibility

Fits perfectly for guinea pigs, although I personally would not include
hamspters in the same catagory. I never had a hampster that wanted to
do anything other than bite, mate, and kill his fellow hampsters :/

I'm assuming Jerri hasn't seen this post yet. I keep accessing the site
to see if she has made a comment on "Butterbean."

I love the colors you've used on the bear fetish and know you will come
up with the proper shape. Zuni bears are my favorite Southwestern
animal, which makes sense since bears are my power animal.

I LOVE that!!!

I've made zuni bears, too, although mine have just been plain boring brown
ones. I have one on a zipper pull here somewhere. If I can find it, I'll
take a pic.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments about my little Butterbean Bear!
I made my first Totem on the same day, but decided not to show that one
because it ended up looking like a poster child for rhinoplasty!...LOL! (I
really need to practice on my sculptural skills.)
