A new start in a couple of ways...

DH and I have lost our jobs, so are re-tooling resumes, making new
contacts, etc. But also it's given me a bit of energy for unfinished
business in other aspects of my life - we cleaned out a hall closet last
week, progressing on another home improvement, and today I took out a
UFO that requires stitching over one on 36 ct. linen. I'd stashed it
away at the end of last summer, and now have vowed to sit in the sun for
at least 1/2 hour per day until I finish this **&&%%#@# over-one
lettering (in Italian, of all things). (I've also just started an
Italian aria in my voice lessons, so doing the full-immersion route,
LOL!) Feeling like time in the future will be more limited, less
flexible, so I'd best get *something* done even as I'm job-searching.

I'm so sorry you and your DH lost your jobs. But good for you on the
positive outlook. My DH is having job issues again and I wish he'd put some
of that nervous energy from it to better use (like exercising, dealing with
the piles of paper he creates....)

Enjoy the over one - I have yet to tackle that....

I'm sorry about the job situation and hope that resolves itself quickly.

Happy for your good attitude and the fact that you are being productive and
not just moaning and groaning.

Ahhh, that wonderful silver lining! Good luck with the job searches.
I hope something comes along soon. Congrats on the finishes, too!

Joan
