By that do you mean a polishing buff motor? One that has spindles and
interchangeable polishing mops? If so most bench grinders from a powertools
store can be used and spindles attached in place of one or both of the
grinding wheels.

Or do you mean something else entirely?

Possibly that's what is meant, but that won't do any polishing as such. Just
clean out any gunk.
