RIP, Jasmine

My dog, Jasmine, went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. I got her as a
pup for Mother's Day in 2001 and it was the day after Mother's Day when
she left us. 13 is pretty old for a lab, so she had a good, long life.
She was hard of hearing and her bodily functions were leaving her, so
it was definitely time for her to go.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your family member. It is so hard to let them go, even when you know it will ease their suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Joan I'm so sorry, you will miss her! Know that you obviously did the
right thing and grieve for her. Hugs to you.

Thanks, Sheena. Knowing that she's better off now is what makes it
worth the sadness.

Thanks Gill and Jack, too! My one regret was that I couldn't be with
her at the end, since DH took her in to the vet.
