Fabric stores in London, England
Hello-- one of my Guild friends will be in London for three weeks and
would like to visit some fabric stores while she is there. The info I've seen posted on this topic is several years old. Can someone point me to a listing of apparel and upholstery fabric sources in London? Thanks in advance Kristi |
Well she needs to visit Liberty's near Regent Street but only for ideas.

Searching by International Directory Enquiries hasn't turned up much for me, either, even for shops that I know are thre. However, from memory: For apparel fabrics, try: Broadwick Silks - Broadwick Street Soho Silks - D'Arblay Street Borowick's Fabrics - Berwick Street The Cloth Shop - Berwick Street (all these shops are a few yards from each other in and off Berwick Street, London W1). It's best to walk down Berwick Street from the Oxford Street end. For upholstery fabrics, I guess Liberty is still worth a look, as might be John Lewis department store in Oxford Street - John Lewis also sells dress fabrics. :) Trish |
