We invite you to take place in international seminar on polymer scince
and technology(ISPST).The 8th International Seminar on Polymer Science
and Technology (ISPST 2007) is the continuation of the ISPST series
which were organized by Iran Polymer Society (IPS) with collaboration
of an Iranian academic institution. IPS is a national technical
association which is aimed to encourage the interchange of knowledge
from the alliances and partnerships amongst the national and
international communities in all aspects of polymer science and
engineering. The previous seven ISPST seminars were successfully held
in Amirkabir University of Technology in 1986, 1990, 2000 and 2005,
Shiraz University in 1994 and Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute
in 1997 and 2003.


The reputation of the ISPST series for high standards of
presentation in content is ensured by papers, which are assessed on
their technical content by many expert reviewers before being accepted
for the seminar. Following the tradition of previous seminars, the
ISPST 2007 is now jointly organized by Sharif University of Technology
(SUT), one of the leading university in engineering education and
applied science in Iran, and IPS with association of Ecole
Polytechnique of Montral which maintains one of the strongest research
program on polymer in Canada. The ISPST 2007 will provide an
international forum for presentation and discussion of the latest
scientific concepts and technological developments covering all
aspects of polymeric materials. It also intends to bring together
Iranian and active international participants working within the
various polymer fields. The 3 day program will consist of a number of
plenary and keynote lectures by the leading experts in the fields
along with many oral and poster presentations. An exhibition
participated by industry as well as academia is also organized for the
seminar. The official language of the seminar will be English.
