Carving knives

As I start to look at new carving knives , the seems to be a lot of
choices out there.
Can anyone tell what knives are the best or what knvies they like the
most? Are Flexicut knives any good?

Oh Boy, that's a tough one. I like Flexcut knives, but my favorites
are those that I have ground from old straight razors. Those old
razors are beautiful steel! I've also mounted blades from Warren
Cutlery http://www.warrencutlery.com/index.htm in wooden handles
that have served me well. I am a sharpening and stropping freak, and
all of the above take good edges.

You'll probably find almost as many answers as there are carvers out
there, but yes, flexcut knives and gouges are Very good. I've bought
several knives down through the years, but prefer my own homemade
knives. I like to use industrial hacksaw blades, but I saw one knife
made from a Dewalt sabre saw blade and was pretty impressed.

Warren blades/knives are pretty good too.

I have been making carving knives and thought you may be interested.
They are Warren Blades and the handles are hand carved by me of various
exotic woods. As this is a hobby of mine, I sell a set of four knives
for $30 + $5 S & H to any where in the Continental United States. I
guarantee you will be pleased with them. If not, send them back for a
full refund of the knives. George

PS - If interested, I can send you a list of the various wood handles.
The picture shows Zebra Wood Handles.

I have been waiting for about 5 days now but the shipping times are 10-19 days. As soon as I get them I will let you know. I have not seen you on that forum for a long time now and I was wondering where you are? How did it go with the collection that you got? Here is the link to the beads again http://www.liangdianup.com/beadscrafts_1.htm and here is the link to the Swarovski beads http://www.liangdianup.com/inventory/900020.htm if those links don't work then you can goto www.lducompany.com and click on the beads picture, that should take you right there. I hope you see this message and get back to me cause I miss talking to you :)
