WoolyGooly
I have located a woman here in town who has been knitting on Passap
machines for 25+ years, including a Duo80 like the one I was given a
few months ago. She has agreed to tutor me in the beast's use so I'm
heading to her place shortly for my first lesson.
I'm excited! Learning how to use this...

Stick a fork in me... by
The Other Kim
I'm done.
With the Sock Wars, that is.
Yes, my demise arrived yesterday while I was at the UCLA-WSU football
game. Actually, it was a phone call during our pregame concert that
brought the bad news. The conversation went thusly:
"Hello?"
"I think you're done."

What I've been up to by
WoolyGooly
Warning: yarn porn to follow.
Item at the far left of the image is in shadow. I think it's a hank
of laceweight that's pretty ugly right now as it needs to be rewound.

column of leaves scarf by
SpikeDriver
Has anyone started the column of leaves scarf?
I am about half done with one I am doing in black.
I had the pattern memorized after doing 8 patterns and many mistakes I
had to pull out. It is not bad after you get it memorized.
And, Gail says I am senile.
Hugs & God bless,

Info on Junghans Fee and Lang Yarns Venezia, please by
DA
These yarns are not imported to the US, and all the info I have been able to
find on the web is from Dutch/German sites.
What is the suggested stitch/row gauge and needle size from the ball band?
Also knowing the meters/Yardage in a 50 gram ball would help.
Thanks,
DA

OT - Family traditions by
The Other Kim
Many families have a family tradition of the father putting the star on
top of the Christmas tree. We've never done that, as I never used a
star when it was a Christmas tree - I have a lovely collection of
treetop angels - and now that it's a Yule tree what goes on top varies
from year to...
