Attn Lynne in Toronto -- advice for landing a cowboy! by
Kathy Applebaum
Lynne, I had to think of you when I heard this:
http://cartalk.cars.com/Radio/Show/online (go to segment 6 about Megan
landing a new man).
I'm not sure when they change the internet shows over -- it might go away on
Monday, or it might last all week. Enjoy!

Have you tried this pattern? by
Polly Esther
I do not gamble. I figure everybody should have at least one virtue and that
is mine. I can chase good-looking men and carouse with the best of the
great-grandmothers. However, I'm going to gamble here. I figure there's a
one in a thousand chance.
Have any of you ventured in to Happy2 / Joy3 quilt...

OT now a little earthquake by
Taria
I'm running out of nerves here. Sitting on the
couch all in and the whole place shakes. 2
little earthquakes 3.3 hit pretty close to the
house here. Me and the kitties are about
all in. Hope it was too small for the folks
in the evacuation centers to feel. I'm beginning
to wonder why I love...

Bernina 153 Quilters Edition by

I am really enjoying this new machine. I am so glad I got it now and it is
such an improvement over the old one. I started the new owner classes and got
through 2 prior to the hurricane and now can't seem to organize to get back to
take 3 and 4. Anyone taken these classes and can fill me on...

Back from Houston -- *not* OT! (long) by
Sandy Foster
Wow! I didn't think I could be as impressed with the show as I was last
year (my first time), but I was. It's *so* amazing.
This year's show started early for me, since Ally arrived in Las Vegas
for a visit with us before we both left for Houston. What fun! I can see
why beading is gaining...

Can I be Queen of Hot Stuff? and what I've been making by
David & Barbara Schmidt
All this talk of titles got me thinking. I want t title. Can I be the
Queen of Hot Stuff (or a similar title if someone can come up with
something cuter :))
My hubby and I have been busy making our salsa for that upcoming craft
bazaar. I'm the one who posted about my hubby rubbing his eyes after...

Gecko Quilt Done by

It's been a long time since I've posted - been busy with work and projects
around the house. However, I have found time to finish my first attempt at
an
"art quilt" - just saw it in my mind and put it together. Once at the 1st
page, follow the "next" links to see some close-ups. ...

I am looking for a pattern for a poinsettia quilt that has the petals
layered and appliqued on the quilt blocks. Does someone have one they could

Thanks so much :)

I haven't done the retreat, but I took his caveman quilting class when he
taught at our guild last year. What fun! Not only is Ricky a blast, but the
technique was great fun, too.
Here's the pictures: http://www.geocities.com/kapplebaum/PhotoGallery/RT.htm

Northern Lights by

The 'light bulb' is going on in my brain again. With the wonderful
display of the Northern Lights here lately I have been thinking of just
how beautiful a quilt would look like if I do my best to make the design
flow like the curtain of the Northern lights with the brilliant colors
on a black...

Hi folks. I was trying to put the walking foot on today and I can't get the

normal foot-holder-thingy, leading me to believe that the tip of the screw
may be stripped? any thoughts on that? I can get the...

Lion Fabric by

Hi folks
I am afraid I am a woodturner, not a quilter. My wife on the other hand,
quilts up a storm. At the moment she is looking for a fabric with a lion
print on it. We could not find one locally, including a very good quilt
store. Nor was it to found at Fabric.com, Keepsake Quilting, or...
