Still looking for Berocco yarn users by
Linda
Hi
I still haven't heard if anyone has used Berocco Hush or Berocco Lullaby for
knitting baby sweaters. How did you like it? How many balls did you need
for a 2-3T sweater?
Thanks

If it is winter, then make knitting needles? by
Historical documents I have just come across, claim that dogwood is the
right wood for making knitting needles. Better than- Dare I say it? -
ROSEWOOD.
Any experience with dogwood knitting needles?
Anyway, I am making some. The green wood is very easy to split and work,
but hardens as it drys. ...

Hello Kitty by
Gallagher
I am looking for a knitting pattern for Hello Kitty.
I've seen crochet patterns on the web, but not any for knitting. The item I
am trying to make is a little purse that is actually shaped like Hello
Kitty's head. (It's not as awful as it sounds!)
I don't want to take too much time charting a...

dyeing wool with hair dye by
eyeclinic
My wife made me a beautiful floor-length black coat for Christmas.
She purchased a white wool liner with lapels that show on the front of
the coat, and at my insistance, tried to dye the wool black. It came out
a pale spotty gray. She used RIT dye in cold water. Would black human
hair coloring...

the dead was an individual person and not just a number. People in our

Teaching Knitting - any hints? by
Penny Gaines
A while ago, I started to advertise in my LYS to teach beginners knitting.
I used to work in computer training, so I have some teaching experience.
I've also taught a friend's daughter to knit, and last year I helped a FOAF
to understand patterns, but this will be the first time I've actually...
