I used the long weekend to finish a cotton top (knit in Knit 1 Crochet

something that is simple and fast. Has anyone heard of such a pattern
before? If so can they share it with me?
If no one has one, does anyone know where I...

Knitted Flowers? by
Moon Shyne
Hello All,
I've just recently found this group, after spending much time searching for
knitting patterns for flowers - the 3-D sort that can be placed in a vase.
My daughter is already working on some Xmas presents, and is looking for
patterns.
Can anyone help? Please feel free to either post...

Could you choose the best 2 of these 4 pics by
David R. Sky
Hi,
I got 4 pics of a 'shrink' I crocheted, they're at
www.shellworld.net/~davidsky/shrink.htm , and tell me which 2 are
the best (including the 1 close-up - which one is that?).
Also, are the colors variations of green alone? ('variegated
green'), or are there also other colors?
The reason I'm...

was dyeing acrylic yarns is now just dyeing. by
Els van Dam
Dyeing works differently for each fibre you want to dye. For cotton you
need different chemicals than for wool, etc, to make the dye adhere to
the fibres. Dyeing with plant materials demands again different methods
from dying with chemical dyes. Add to this the differences of the fibres
you...

I subscribe to this group as well as about 10 others using Agent. For
some reason, the messages in this group are appearing one after the
other instead of the first message showing how many responses there
are.
The first thing I did was check any settings, but since all the other

Att'n: Chris - nunya by
YarnWright
Chris,
I was totally taken aback by your acusatory post, basically stating
that RCTY is somehow 'cliquey'.... I disagree, and find it hard to
believe you *really* think that!
You've always been a sporadic poster, but welcomed here, especially by
ME, so I do take umbrage in your remarks....

OK, I may be really stupid, but I am having serious problems trying to
figure out the whole thing that is happening in your part of the world. I
did a search for maps of Palestine and Israel. I found Israel with no
difficulty, but there is really no such place as "Palestine". So what gives?
How...

Wooly, You Were Right by
hesira
The Jaywalker is too tight. Frogged the thing, and really don't want
to look at the pattern right now, but for future reference, any
suggestions on how to make it fit? Do you think a shorter leg would
help?
(These questions are open to ANYONE)
Thanks from a grumpy,
Hesira
